About Sushi Zoa
Sushi Zoa is all about serving customers Japanese food and Korean dishes. There is variety for the whole family.
Sushi Zoa is a restaurant in Hutto, Texas. It is listed at 4909 Gattis School Rd #120, Hutto, TX 78634, which places it among the local businesses of Hutto that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

We went here to pick up Ramen since it is close to our house and we didnβt have time to drive somewhere else like Ramen Tatsuya. I ordered the Miso and Tonkotsu ramen for $18 each. When we got home, the food is extremely underwhelming and incredibly overpriced. Barely two pieces of pork that is pure fat, minimal toppings, undercooked noodles, incredibly bland broth. For $18 it made me angry honestly. This place might have other good food, but Ill never know. Just feeling incredibly ripped off on trying the incredibly sad ramen was enough.

The service was great and its a neat place. I am sorry to say the Sushi is not good. I am yet to find a good place in texas to get good sushi. Too salty, instead of succulent fish, I get crushed pasty ones. Too much sauce all over. It is very clear the sushi is made by people who arent korean or japanese. I taste like mexican sushi. Heb has better ones. Same issue with seaweed salad, it was sweet.

Small but clean facility with plenty of parking and good access right off of the 130. Wait staff were very friendly and we were able to get a table quickly. Menu was extensive and included many non-sushi items. Prices were a bit steep. The Bluefin tuna and Yellowtail nigiri were excellent. The sashimi was plentiful, had good texture and not mushy at all. Vey tasty. The Rainbow Roll however, was disappointing. The rolls were quite small, and there was only a sliver of sashimi on top of the roll. Not really worth the $16. Overall good experience and would return for the Nigiri or maybe some of the other dishes.

We've been dining at Sushi Zoa for quite a while now (we've also ordered delivery once or twice) and it's hands down the best sushi in the area. So good in fact we always forget to take pictures of the delicious treats the chefs prepare for us! The owner and executive chef, Mr. Jay Chung is a master of his trade and leads a fine team of chefs. He sources quality ingredients and prepares deliciously well balanced dishes that always hit the right spot. The Uni here is almost always available and always fresh and satisfying! The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is peaceful and homely. It's not over the top with wild lighting and loud music but gentle and calming, like having an incredible meal at a friend's house. There's usually news and kpop videos playing the TVs with subtitles. Always a great time as Sushi Zoa and always look forward to returning!

This review is long overdue because I keep forgetting to write one. Stopped by today on New Year Day. This is our GO TO sushi spot. I only eat the fried rolls so I get the Hungry Roll and Dirty Six. We also get the saka crunchy roll and this place never disappoints. The service is always great. The prices are better than other places and the presentation is great. Highly recommend this place.
